The Descendants of Pierre Francois Briand

This genealogy is dedicated to all the Briands who hope to find the family
they belong to. My inspiration for all the family history was fueled by
my mother , who did not know who all her family members were, to my Grand
mother, Rufine Briand Bonin and to her father Pierre-Norbert Briand, who
came from families of substance in France, to live in Nova Scotia, far
from the land of their birth.
The Deportation in 1755 has been recorded by so many . The trials
these ancestors endured are difficult to read about. The love of life,
family , faith and home shines through each and every story. In a small
way I can only try to piece together the families that are recorded here.
